The TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) is offered to:
- active duty family members
- family members of Selected Reserve service members
- family members of Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) service members
- Selected Reserve and IRR service members who are not on active duty

Certain TRICARE beneficiaries have the option to enroll in the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP), offered by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. (The TRDP, provided by Delta Dental of California, ended on Dec. 31, 2018.)
If you’re eligible for FEDVIP dental or vision coverage, you may enroll during the annual Federal Benefits Open Season or after you experience a FEDVIP QLE.
